Plan Ahead: Fall 2025 Dress-Up Days Are Here! 🎉

Dear Hardin Hornet Families,

Break out the flannel, dig up those neon socks, and dust off the superhero cape… it’s time for Fall 2025 Dress-Up Days! 🎭✨

This year, we made sure the themes were ones our students really wanted to see. We sent out a survey, and the Pride & Patriotism Committee in Student Council turned those results into a list that’s sure to be fun. We even teamed up with HHS Cheer to sprinkle in some extra spirit! 💙💛

Participation is encouraged but never mandatory—we just want our students to have the chance to show their Hornet pride, support great causes, and make some awesome memories.

✨ NEW THIS YEAR: StuCo is also putting out a donation request for Spirit Day dress-up items! Have extra costumes, fun accessories, crazy socks, or holiday gear? Send them our way! Your donations will help every Hornet have the chance to participate, even if they don’t have something at home.

Here’s a peek at what’s coming up:

September

  • Sept. 5 – Spirit Dress Up: Battle of the Prints (Camo Squad vs. Animal Crew)
  • Sept. 12 – Spirit Dress Up: Scrabble Day (Wear a shirt with a single letter, get with friends)
  • Sept. 19 – Spirit Dress Up: Glowing for a Win (Neon Day, Blackout Pep Rally)
  • Sept. 22 – Team Up Against Cancer: Jersey Day – Rep your favorite team/player in support of childhood cancer awareness.
  • Sept. 23 – Put Cancer to Bed: Pajama Day – Wear your coziest PJs to support the fight.
  • Sept. 24 – Be Their Superhero: Superhero Day – Dress as your favorite superhero to show strength and courage.
  • Sept. 25 – Buzzing in Blue for a Cure: Hornet Blue Day – Show Hornet pride and support kids with cancer.
  • Sept. 26 – Go for the Gold: Childhood Cancer Awareness – Deck out in gold to shine for the cause.
October
  • Oct. 2 – Spirit Dress Up: Decades Day
  • Oct. 6–9 – Homecoming Week Dress Up Days
    • Oct. 6: Manhattan Monday (NYC)
    • Oct. 7: Hollywood
    • Oct. 8: Nashville
    • Oct. 9: Blue and Gold Day
  • Oct. 23 – Spirit Dress Up: Country vs. Country Club
  • Oct. 27–31 – Red Ribbon Week: “Life is a Puzzle, Solve It.”
    • Oct. 27: Rally in Red
    • Oct. 28: Celebrate Life: Dress as Your Favorite Holiday
    • Oct. 29: Dress as the Letter of Your Name – “Dress for Your Name, Stand for Your Future: Stay Drug-Free!”
    • Oct. 30: Pink Out – Think Pink, Stay Strong, Live Drug Free!
November
  • Nov. 6 – Spirit Dress Up: Team Up to Take ’Em Down (Twin/Triplet/Squad Day)

  • Dec. 16 – Wrap Battle: Dress Like a Present
  • Dec. 17 – Frost Yourself in Flannel: Flannel Day
  • Dec. 18 – Silent Night, Comfy Morning: Pajama Day
